Hi Don, In this particular case, I know the content is good since I've read stuff from this writer many times before. But the format just creates a lot of effort because it's like a wall of text with no paragraphs at all--none. Just big spaces in between the lines. I doubt writers using this single-sentence paragraph technique would lose readers by organizing into some short paragraphs of several sentences each (and a few single sentences here or there), and they might even gain some.

You make a good point. We want our content scannable, but I've also noticed some over do it here. I like single post paragraphs, but to the extend you describe here would annoy me as well.

Hi Lisa! I'm terribly late in responding, but thought I'd do it anyway. You're right, Thesis is easy to customize, plus you get so many more options than most of the freebies. Hope the tip helps! Your blog looks great.

Hi Leah,
I use Thesis for my blog too and I love it. It is so easy to customize. I finally have my blog looking the way that I want it to. I haven't upgraded to version 1.8 yet, but thanks for the tip.

Thanks Rosemary! Crack me up about the harpic bottle on the loo. The Wishing Chair and spending a summer in a tree sound sjust wonderful! Sounds like you're quite a reader too. Your library experience is similar to mine. In elementary school, we had "Library" class once a week. We spent about 15 minutes or a half hour listening to the teacher, but the rest of the class was devoted to finding the books we wanted and checking them out. It was my favorite class! My mom even gave me requests lol

Hey Leah...fab new website...congrats! You really are a pro! I have really early and equally baffling memories of reading the cornflakes box and the harpic bottle in the loo too...teee hee! But I was trying to remember lately what was my first book and I think it was The Wishing Chair by ~Enid Blyton and I think I was probably 6 or 7. I remember my best friend and I spent a whole summer up a tree having adventures in our very own wishing chair. I also remember joinging the local library around then and feeling very grown up as my friend and I took our first walk into the village alone to get another book. I'm looking forward to what you bring us with this new blog Leah...Thanks
